Operating Principles
Operating Principles are statements that summarise the explicit choices we have made about how we want to work as a firm and with our clients. They are informed by our vision and arise from deep discussions about different ways of working. We have decided that we will:
- Approach challenges proactively believing in a positive outcome
- Accommodate personal preferences in the way we run our business where we reasonably can
- Choose our client engagements and assign our resources based on our capabilities and our comfort that we can deliver
- Positively say "no" to clients when appropriate
- Do what we say we will do and immediately make clear if we can not keep a commitment
- Work inclusively and in teams whenever possible. This means we will:
— Explore all options
— Use our collective experience to best effect
— Understand and consider our personal preferences
— Challenge and support each other
- Have freedom to act, but act in a disciplined way based on our operating principles and values
- Honestly share the problems, the work load, and the reward
- Be polite and honest, and treat our colleagues and our clients with respect
