Our Associates : Nigel Carpenter
Nigel Carpenter is a senior security executive with extensive experience in developing and leading security risk management operations in global organisations. He has specific experience of working with security issues in Western and Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS, Middle East, North and West Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, Asia/Pacific, Indian Sub Continent and the USA. He has led the development of a large multi-national energy corporation’s implementation processes for the Voluntary Principles on Security & Human Rights. Nigel also understands corporate cultures and sensitivities, and the need to protect reputation through corporate social responsibility action and good governance. He has an extensive international network of highly effective working relationships with senior law enforcement, security and intelligence, diplomatic and military officials, and private sector/corporate counterparts.
Prior to consulting, Nigel was Deputy Head of Group Security in BP for seven years. Prior to his corporate career, Nigel spent twenty-three years in progressively responsible positions within the Police and Security Service Branch of the Royal Navy.
