
Andy Tomkins is a founding partner of i2a. He has more than fifteen years of consulting experience focused on strategy design and implementation. Typically he works with business leaders, in both large and medium-sized enterprises, to identify challenges and formulate appropriate strategic responses. His work has included planning and managing business and organisational change. Andy has been instrumental in developing i2a's good business approach. He has worked in the management of environmental and social issues in the extractive industries and in compliance with code of business conducts. He is an expert at facilitating groups to help them achieve their objectives. He has operated extensively throughout Europe, the USA and Asia, for leading, global companies.
Before joining i2a Andy was Global Head of Chemical Services at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGE&Y). He has also worked for Arthur D. Little, a leading management consultancy firm, for six years. Before consulting, Andy worked in industry for eight years, mostly in sales & marketing roles, with Beecham Pharmaceuticals, Rhône Poulenc and Procter & Gamble.
Andy is active with Young Enterprise, a programme to help young adults set-up and run small business, until recently chairing a Young Enterprise Area Board. He is a trustee of The Piscari Charitable Trust and is currently involved in establishing its Tools for Suxess programme that will provide finance to disadvantaged young people who need to buy tools to succeed in employment.
